Falling in Love With New Orleans

When I visited New Orleans decades ago, I was not impressed. I found it dirty, touristy, and not my choice for a destination. Years later, I fell in love when a friend invited me to visit and experience her New Orleans. Instead of what I remembered, I found a town full of originals. Charming streets full of artists, small, chef-run restaurants, architecture that stole my heart, and people who were as genuine and friendly as you will find anywhere.

The Home Idea Factory in Dallas has been my casa for over 20 years, but I truly have fallen in love with New Orleans, and I’ve decided it is time to make a change. Dallas has gotten so big, and my little quiet, historic neighborhood is evolving. I am ready to put that for sale sign out and hit the road! I am excited to share this beautiful city that I am ready to call home with you,and to return the favor and share my favorite people, places, and experiences in New Orleans so if you are coming to town, so you can fall in love like I did.

Much more to come!
